Key Benefits
 Banner Real-time Address Verification

CLEAN_Address supports a seamless real-time interface for address verification within Banner. This pre-developed solution saves you integration time and money, and insures that the initial price of the subscription covers the "last mile" of integration work. This is a true plug-and-play integrated solution for Banner, whether using the client-server Banner Forms, INB, or the web self-service modules. The integration from the Banner user interface is 100% seamless, requiring no additional popup screens or additional steps to learn. No additional training is required for end users, either.

 Banner Batch Address Verification

CLEAN_Address provides batch interfaces for ten Banner address tables, covering admissions, prospects, student, HR, alumni, finance, financial aid, and several others. Batch updates are integrated within the database, so the Banner address tables do not need to be exported and reloaded. This keeps the address data securely in place within the database. Several reports are provided for identifying duplicate addresses and reporting on address errors in summary and detail.

 DPV™ Product Option

Provides the most accurate level of address verification available, down to the house number and suite/apartment level (Delivery Point Validation). This will indicate if an address is missing an apartment number or if the one specified is out of range. This also includes the LACSLink™ data option for converting the older Rural Route/Box addresses to the new physical address for easier access by emergency personnel.

Banner ZIP Code™ and County updates

CLEAN_Address contains an automatic seamless method for updating the Banner ZIP Code™ (GTVZIPC) and County (STVCNTY) tables. This keeps these tables up-to-date bimonthly at no additional cost and no additional data subscriptions. The update process is seamless and no manual intervention is required when you get bimonthly data updates for CLEAN_Address.

 Banner Telephone Verification

Updates the Banner telephone table (SPRTELE) in real-time and batch mode to provide cross-data validation between the telephone and address, area code splits, area code mismatches, invalid prefixes, and distance from the telephone wire center to the address.

 Enterprise Architecture

The CLEAN_Address server is scalable and can support seamless fail over, redundancy, and load balancing for Oracle databases.

 Centralized Architecture

The CLEAN_Address Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) can support multiple databases from a single installation. This centralized approach makes the bimonthly update very easy to apply, and can support a development, test, and production Oracle instance from one CLEAN_Address server, whether running Banner or any other Oracle application. Some institutions may have different solutions for Finance and HR (such as Oracle Applications and PeopleSoft), and CLEAN_Address will work seamlessly with any application that accesses Oracle.

 Postal Rate Discounts

The Mailers+4 software option provides a PAVE Gold certified solution for getting the best postage rate discounts based on a list you are processing for mailing. This is a standalone solution which works with address lists. After processing an address list through Mailers+4, the addresses are CASS certified and PAVE Gold sorted for the best postal rate discount.

Features
Runner Technologies has certified the batch program for CLEAN_Address to work with the Banner address and telephone tables.

Reports are provided to show before/after versions of the address so you can see what was changed after address verification (See Reports below).

Pre and Post verification user exits for Address Verification and Telephone Checking in real-time and batch modes
Complete customization of the address standards and any other business rule your institution may have. This is done through a separate package "CLEAN_Address_Banner_UE" (UE for User Exit). Here you can change several parameters which affect formatting and CASS™ standards, as well as add Pre and Post verification custom processing.

The user exits allow you to set standards on the fly, bypass address verification completely based on certain address types (i.e. campus addresses not in USPS®), and correct specific exceptions that your users typically enter.
